Gjetost "Ski Queen" 250 gram

Gjetost Ski Queen

Pronounced "Yay-toast." It's Norwegian, and although the name translates directly to "goat cheese," chances are that this cheese tastes just about as far from any you've had before. Gjetost is as sweet as caramel, with the texture of a dense, buttery fudge.

Gjetost is a variety of Scandinavian brown cheese (brunost), often refered to as Ski cheese or Ski Queen.

A certified organic cheddar made by Godminster Farms in Bruton, Somerset, England. Made using traditional methods from a 70 year-old recipe with pasteurized cows milk straight from the Somerset farms own dairy cows.

Less crumbly than traditional farmhouse cheddars, it is uniquely creamy in both taste and texture with a rich full flavour. As a vintage cheddar, it has to mature for over twelve months to allow its tangy, yet smooth taste to develop. Beautifully presented in maroon wax.

Amazing coupled with a good apple jelly or chutney.

Gorgonzola Dolce

Gorgonzola Dolce Italy

Gorgonzola has been produced for centuries in Gorgonzola, Milan, acquiring its greenish-blue marbling in the eleventh century. However, the town's claim of geographical origin is disputed by other localities.
Under Italian law, Gorgonzola enjoys Protected Geographical Status. Termed DOP in Italy, this means that it can only be produced in the provinces of Novara, Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Cuneo, Lecco, Lodi, Milan, Pavia, Varese, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and Vercelli, as well as a number of comuni in the area of Casale Monferrato (province of Alessandria).

Gouda-Double Cream

Double Cream Gouda

Double Cream Gouda is known as one of the creamiest and mellowest cheeses made in Holland. In the controlled conditions of a small cheese making factory, every cheese is painstakingly prepared, treated and aged. Double Cream Gouda is made in Staphorst, in the eastern part of Holland in the Province of Overijsel, where men, women and even children walk around in their traditional costumes. The houses are painted green or light blue. The tradition and craftsmanship couples with the finest ingredients and creamiest milk results in this truly glorious cheese.
