Less crumbly than traditional farmhouse cheddars, it is uniquely creamy in both taste and texture with a rich full flavour. As a vintage cheddar, it has to mature for over twelve months to allow its tangy, yet smooth taste to develop. Beautifully presented in maroon wax.

Saxonshires England Cheddar

Saxon Shires is not really a single cheese. It consists of alternating layers of five different cheeses, taken from the five famous counties of Gloucester, Leicester, Lancashire, Derby and Cheddar. The flavours of the cheeses alternate from mild to sharp. Overall flavour is rather mild and cheddary. Visually appealing, because of the contrasting colors, and a delicious blend of flavours.

Shropshire Blue

Shropshire Blue England

Shropshire Blue is a cow's milk cheese made in the United Kingdom. The cheese was first made in the 1970s at the Castle Stuart dairy in Inverness, Scotland by Andy Williamson, a cheesemaker who had trained in the making of Stilton cheese in Nottinghamshire. The cheese was first known as 'Inverness-shire Blue' or 'Blue Stuart', but was eventually marketed as 'Shropshire Blue', a name chosen to help increase its popularity, despite it having no link to the county of Shropshire.
