This farmstead cheese lives up to her name: Farmers’ Pride. In Holland ‘boer’ means Farmer and ‘trots’ stands for Pride.

This Aged Gouda style cheese is ripened for at least 80 weeks and thus forms beautiful protein crystals. The taste is particularly rich and crumbly yet has a creamy mouthfeel.

This product must be ordered in sets of 50 grams.

Produced in New Hamburg, Ontario with milk from the cheesemakers own dairy herd.

A gouda aged about 1 year. With a softer texture and a more subtle flavour than other aged goudas. It has an ivory rind with a slight rose blush, a crystalline texture, and a sweet, nutty flavor with a caramel aftertaste. Prima Donna is a versatile cheese for pairing with wines yet it pairs especially well with reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Zinfandel.
