Chevre - Plain

Plain Chèvre Ontario

Classic goat’s milk cheese that is bright white and slightly acidic. Chèvre is bright white because goat milk lacks the beta carotene that gives other milks their buttery yellow colour. Great for crumbling over salads, or add to any dish needing goat cheese. Cut and packed to any size.

Made in Lindsay, ON with fresh locally sourced goat milk.

Chevre Cup Peppercorn

This bright and fresh goat cheese is topped with whole red and green peppercorns, while its sides are coated with ground pepper. This spicy cheese makes an excellent addition to a cheese plate, and goes especially well with either smoked tuna or salmon on rye bread, perhaps with a splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Salt Spring's chèvre is covered with roasted garlic and dripping with olive oil; it has a sprig of rosemary too, which adds a subtle flavour and a splash of colour.

Drunken Goat

Drunken Goat Spain

This semi-firm pasteurized goat cheese from Spain's Mediterranean coast is cured for 48-72 hours in Doble Pasta red wine. The paste remains nearly pure white and the rind absorbs a lovely violet hue. The paste is sweet and smooth, delicately grapey, with a gentle, pliable texture and mild fruity flavor. A D.O.P cheese, it pairs well with medium fruity reds.

This Barrel Aged Feta is produced from a blend of all-natural 100% Greek sheep’s and goat’s milk, and is aged for four months in wooden oak barrels. This traditional method of production contributes to its full taste, natural aroma and pure white colour.

Florette Goat Brie

This goat milk brie style cheese has a soft bloomy rind and a rich creamy interior. The flavors are mild, delicate, and creamy, unlike most goat cheeses that usually have a tangy and sharp flavor. It is recommended to serve Florette with crusty bread, mushrooms, potatoes, and fresh or dried fruit.

Pair it with light, fruity ales or sparkling wines.
