Feature Cheese - Parrano


Parrano cheese is a cow milk cheese produced in the Netherlands. It tastes mild and nutty, combining salty and sweet flavours. It incorporates the nutty, and fine-aged taste of Parmesan with the pliant, versatile texture of a Dutch Gouda, making it easier to slice, shred or melt.

Serve Parrano with flavoured mustards, olives, hearty breads, crisp crackers, fruit preserves or fresh fruit.

Pair this cheese with a lightly oaked Chardonnay, off-dry to sweet Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, a glass of Port, light, fruity wheat beers or big chocolatey Porters.
