Produced in New Hamburg, Ontario with milk from the cheesemakers own dairy herd. Mountainoak Farmstead Gold was declared the Reserved Grand Champion at the 2014 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and 1st in the Extra Aged Gouda category at the 2015 Canadian Cheese Grand Prix.

Pied-de-Vent

Semi-soft, surface-ripened, washed-rind cheese with a hazelnut and mushroom flavour.

The cheese produced by the Fromagerie du Pied-De-Vent is made from whole milk supplied by a single dairy herd of Canadienne cows fed from the land of the Magdalen Islands with no chemical additives. The hay produced by the diversity of fodder of the Magdalen Islands, fed to the cows, provides the character of the Pied-de-Vent.

This blue-veined semi-soft cheese is made of thermized milk and ripened for three months. The addition of Les Pionniers port wine from the Les Côtes du Gavet winery in Tingwick enhances the cheese’s flavour and gives it its plum colour. Le Porto Bleu is slightly salty with notes of port wine and hazelnut. The flavour varies in sharpness from low to medium. It is excellent with meat, in salads, on crackers or added to sauces.

Riopelle de l’Isle Quebec

The Riopelle de l’Isle is a soft cheese with a bloomy rind and triple cream paste made of fresh milk and cream. It melts in your mouth and has a wonderful taste of hazelnut, mushroom and a hint of butter.

Made in Quebec at the Fromagerie de l'Île-aux-Grues.

The Riopelle is named after the world-renowned painter Jean-Paul Riopelle, who agreed to lend his name to the cheese as well as one of his masterpieces adorn the label. For each wheel of cheese sold, one dollar goes to the Île-aux-Grues youth foundation.

San Pietro Honeywax

Similar to other hard Italian cheeses like Piave or Grana Padano this cheese has a hard texture and rich full flavour. Encased in beeswax, the cheese is infused with subtle notes of honey and vanilla along with a touch of the cellar. The beeswax keeps humidity in the paste, giving it a silky texture.

Made in the Vento region in Italy by the Perenzin family. The dairy has been making cheeses for four generations and has been open since 1933.
