Cheddar Oak Smoked

A beautifully balanced and lightly smoked mature cheddar cheese. All the cheese produced at Grandma Singletons is made using only locally sourced milk from farms no more than 12 miles (20km) away.  Every cheese is hand crafted to the highest quality standards using time honoured traditional methods.

Chevre

Monforte fresh goat cheese is hand crafted from fresh locally sourced organic goat milk. Fresh, smooth and tangy.

Chevrochon

Semi-soft, washed rind cheese with an off-white interior, a supple, flexible and creamy texture. Along with an earthy aroma, it offers a pronounced but pleasant goat’s milk flavour.

Chimay

Chimay Grand Cru. Chimay Grand Cru is made according to an ancient recipe, and produced from pasteurized cows milk. The rind of this Belgian gourmet cheese is natural and the cheese matures for six weeks which gives it its pure and mellow flavour.

Chimay Monforte

Cow milk washed in Ontario craft Black Swan Porter. Lovely yeasty aromas with rich creamy center.

Chocolate Cheese Fudge

Rich and chocolatey.  Cheese is chopped and mixed with premium dark cocoa for a smooth fudgy texture and big chocolate taste.

Ciel de Charllevoix

Whole raw milk from a single herd is used to produce this creamy, blue-veined, semi-soft cheese with aromas of fresh cream and mushrooms. A mild blue with earthy mineral notes.
This cheese was crowned champion in the 2009 Canadian Grand Prix Cheese Competition held in Montreal. It is versatile to be eaten alone after a meal, or used in salad, or on bruschetta.
Try it with dry fruit, chocolate, a sweet liqueur, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, or possibly an Australian Shiraz.

Cotija

Cotija is a Hispanic-style cheese named after the town of Cotija in the Mexican state of Michoacán. A mild salty fresh white cheese simular to feta.

Since Cotija cheese is salty, firm and does not actually melt, it is used for grating on salads, soups, casseroles, tacos, tostadas and chili. Perfect to top grilled corn on the cob. In Mexico, it is also widely used to enhance the flavour of many savory dishes by mixing directly into the casserole or recipe.
