Baked Camembert with Panchetta

Baked Camembert with Panchetta
Serves: 5-10
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

1 Small Wheel Comox Camembert Cheese
3 slices Thick Cut Panchetta
4 Tbsp (60ml)  Verger Duhaime Crab Apple, Bird Pepper and Nutmeg Fruit Spread for Cheese
1 Tbsp (15ml)  Chopped Nuts, ie Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Pecans

Pre-heat oven to 350
Dice pancetta into small cubes
In a small fry pan sauté pancetta until it is crispy
Slice top rind off of camembert cheese
Place brie in Brie Baker and bake for 15 minutes
Remove from oven and  top with crisp pancetta followed by fruit spread and top with chopped nuts
Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes
Serve with your favorite crackers or sliced baguette
