Amanteigado de Ovelha

These plush pale yellow rounds of Amanteigado cheese have an irresistible oozing softness. The use of thistle rennet imparts a slight sour tang that along with hints of lanolin from the sheep’s milk make for a heady combination. The overall flavour of the pudding-like paste remains more delicate than overwhelming, with floral notes at the finish. Best served with the top trimmed off and spoon in hand.

Made in Statford by Monforte dairy. A fresh sheep milk cheese hand crafted from fresh locally sourced organic milk. Fresh, smooth and tangy. An excellent alternative to traditional cream cheese. Naturally light with just 16% milk fat.

Black Sheep

A soft, surface-ripened sheep milk cheese. Pyramid shaped and coated with balsam ash.
Black Sheep was inspired by Valencay, the cheese created to celebrate the return of Napoleon from Egypt. A bloomy rind grows over the ash and develops a blue-grey color as the cheese ages, becoming runny in the middle.

Bonnechere

Bonnie Chere Raw Milk Sheep

Bonnechere is a semi-firm, pressed cheese made with raw sheep milk. The milk is collected from the cheesemaker's own flock of sheepthrough the summer months.

Brebis Rousse D'Argental

Brebis Rousse D'Argental

This luscious washed rind cheese is produced by Fromagerie Guilloteau. The milk is collected from ewes of the Argental region of France. Aged for thirty days this square cheese exhibits a thin bright orange patchy rind. "Brebis" is French for sheep and "Rousse" refers to the colour of the cheese.

When young the flavour is rich and sweet, but as the cheese matures the stronger meaty, earthy flavours develop while the rind becomes a darker rusty orange colour. The texture is soft and velvety and sure to ooze deliciously on your cheese plate.

Brie - Fromager d'Affinois Brebicet

Soft bloomy rind,  rich smooth and creamy double cream. Produced by Fromageris Guilloteau in the regional natural park of Pilat, in the French Rhone-Alps.

Made with sheep milk.

The mild, buttery flavor has a sweetness that goes very well with champagne and fresh fruit.
